Effective real estate exploitation
The buildings that Planex constructs are executed in accordance with a number of statutory documents, one of them being the Energy Efficiency Act. The energy-saving materials and technologies that we use facilitate clients’ electrical energy consumption and energy bill payment. In order to avail yourself of the used technologies’ advantages, it is prudent to make sure you maintain the building’s thermal comfort.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. It takes at least one summer, before your home dries up. In this way, the damp will drop down to the average level.
2. In order to restrain the factors leading to damp and mould in the rooms during the winter period:
- Refresh the air in the rooms regularly – not through a window that is permanently ajar, but by opening your windows widely for about 5-10 minutes.
- Always turn the kitchen hood on, when you are cooking, and the fan in the bathroom, when this room is being used.
- Do the heating properly! Maintain a relatively permanent and uniform temperature in all rooms in the building. If there are unused (uninhabited) rooms in your apartment, do not let the air there to get in contact with the air in those rooms that are inhabited. Also, refresh their air regularly.
Risk factors for increased damp in the apartment are: drying clothes inside the rooms; condensation accumulation on the glasses during the winter, which is not removed periodically; the presence of too many flowers or an aquarium – in these rooms it is recommended that you refresh the air more frequently, and, if necessary, install a moisture absorber.
