The construction of the residential complex Moreni Club Residence strategically located south of the Ring Mall and IKEA store, at the foot of Vitosha Mountain, has been launched today with a ceremony attended by the mayor of Vitosha district Eng. Teodor Petkov, partners and guests. Planex Invest – an investment construction company, and Danaos Development are partners in the project with an investment of BGN 60 million.
The project will be implemented in two stages; the first stage is planned to be commissioned in 28 months. Moreni will be fully completed in 2025. The main parameters of the project are as follows: 90 decares of land, of which the built-up area of low-rise buildings will be only 13,580 sq. m., a view of the Vitosha mountain, fresh air and large park area with lots of sun.
The concept of the Moreni residential complex places nature first and sets high architectural and environmental standards. The project comprises of thirteen three-storey apartment buildings with a total of 256 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and 33 single-family houses. Moreni brings a distinctive urban solution with a fully residential function. The buildings are autonomously positioned on the site, oriented to the path of the sun, letting the airflow free and clean. All homes are provided with the necessary parking spaces, whereas the car traffic is designated to the periphery of the complex for the benefit of clean air and safety for residents.
‘The local infrastructure is entirely our investment. Moreni is located in an area with a well-developed transport network and commercial services, with sports, entertainment and recreation opportunities. The planned extension of the metro network to the area makes it an even more attractive place to live’, Eng. Plamen Andreev, manager of Planex Invest, said.
Moreni Club Residence is a product of a new urban habitation theory blending coexistence and respect for nature, healthy lifestyle, active sports and leisure, spacious and sustainable architecture, modern and bright housing, security and tranquillity for family and kids. The subterranean river was brought to the surface into a lake as part of the leisure walking and rest area. There is an Alley of Health encompassing 2,500 m sport lanes, outdoor recreation and sports zones, children's playgrounds and pets walking areas creating a new type of living environment.
The project was created with high requirements for rich landscaping and new-style development planning of the terrain using green eco-friendly building materials and systems. The architectural concept is calm and balanced, blending different elements in cohesive design and favouring the use of natural materials like stone, wood and glass to complement nature.
Planex Invest foresees the planting of 500 large trees and 2,000 ornamental shrubs in the adjacent park. The first twenty conifers were planted today.
