Planex was awarded the Golden Plummet and Top 50+ prizes of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber

For a tenth successive year, the Bulgarian Construction Chamber gave its traditional Golden Plummet and Top 50+ awards on the occasion of the Professional Builders Holiday – St. Dimiter’s Day. The official ceremony of the Varna Regional Representation Office was held during the opening of the Construction Exhibition – Varna 2011.

For a fifth running year Planex was awarded the grand prix – the Golden Plummet Statuette for the construction of Viva 3 Complex. The building consists of four corpuses, each with different function. The residential part of 121 apartments occupies two of the corpuses. The third corpus houses offices with 3132 sq. meters total built-up useful floor area. The fourth corpus is for commercial purposes; it occupies the main level of the building, which has underground parking lot with 156 car spaces.

Planex was also given the special award of Varna Municipality, the first prize in the category Construction in the social sphere, education and healthcare for the implementation of a multifunctional building of the Association of Officers in the Reserve, and a Diploma for participation in the category Industrial buildings for implementation of the Factory for production of dry building mixtures of the company Saint-Gobain Construction Products Bulgaria.

In parallel with the ceremony in Varna, the annual Top 50+ Awards were given at an official event in Sofia. They were handed by Ms. Lilyana Pavlova, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, by Eng. Svetoslav Glossov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber, and by Eng. Lazar Lazarov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency. At this ceremony, Planex was awarded the Golden Prize in the Structural Engineering category.
